The Voices Within

The demons are back. Just when I thought I
was slowly getting better, it got worse.
But it doesn't matter.
I'll deal with it. It's not like I have a choice.
No way is it gonna mess up my life again.
I hope.

Well this morning, I read yet another article
in The Straits Times (Singapore)
on the issue of racism.
The author was against it (duh).

But you know what's funny?
The fact that an extremely racist person
writes for the New Paper,
which is owned by SPH, the same
company that owns The Straits Times.
Wendy Cheng (xiaxue) .
Apparently, to her, Bangladeshis in Singapore
should be treated the way African-Americans
were treated way back in the 60's.

Ah yes, and she's actually a celebrity too.
Her blog was voted most popular in Asia
a while ago.

Don't you just love hypocrisy?

I've written and called The Straits Times & The New Paper
about this.
Guess they've decided not to report it.
Big shocker there.

Man, this is giving me a headache.
Maybe I'll figure out a way to put that racist
in her place eventually. But not now.

Well enough of that.
